Remote Training Facts While we frequently hear extremely positive reactions to our training program, there are certain things we can and cannot accomplish without your cooperation and commitment to training. Simply sending the dog away and writing a check will give you the following results: You will enjoy a closer relationship with your dog, as the dog becomes more focused on you and other family members. You will have a foundation on which to build further training with your dog. You will have increased control in off-leash and
distracting situations. You will have increased expectations of your dog's behavior. You will experience increased communication with your dog, so that you can address problem behaviors. Training support for your dog's lifetime, and our commitment to provide you with a plan to help your dog be happy and obedient. Writing that check will not give you: A "new" dog, magically without those bad habits that were created/caused/exacerbated by neglect or indifference. A perfectly behaved companion that you can leave in the yard all day, every day, without any interaction from you at all. A dog that your 5 year old can "train" all by himself! Your best results will be gained by both sending your dog for training and committing to the essential daily follow-up training. We may recommend that you change some of your routines and behaviors, to best continue your dog's training. It is your responsibility to the animal that relies on you to provide the basics of food, shelter, medical care, as well as structure and guidance. The day that you welcome a dog into your life, you are agreeing to provide more than just the bare essentials - your dog's mental health is at stake. Too many dogs are "throw-aways"; when it gets too hard to deal with them, they are dumped and either are killed, or enter the rescue system. Please make the right choices and continue training your dog. Training is a lifetime commitment, not a 2 week stay at camp!
