Jump Start! Puppy Program

Specifically for the busy household, our Jump Start program will begin housebreaking, crate training, leash-breaking, household manners and introduces training concepts in a fun, effective way for your puppy. Strictly limited to puppies between the ages of 8 and 16 weeks ONLY. Puppies over 16 weeks become eligible for our Total Recall program. All JUMP START graduates are eligible for a $100.00 discount off of our Total Recall program.

Your pup will spend a part of each day learning to walk on a loose lead, to come when called and to sit and down on command, using positive reinforcement and play.

Puppies enrolled in the Jump Start program will spend some time in the house, some time in a securely fenced yard that features a mini-obstacle course, and some time in our comfortable kennel, learning to not only be alone quietly and without stress, but also how to behave indoors and to sleep quietly in a crate. Housebreaking will be started, but we do not guarantee that it will be complete at the conclusion of this program. When available, your pup may also be able to spend some socialization time with puppies of a similar size and age, learning about appropriate interaction with other dogs.

All puppies enrolled in this program must be current on all appropriate vaccinations (consult your vet) and must be Frontlined (or similar). We also recommend year round heartworm preventative for all dogs living in Georgia.

This program is for a minimum of 2 weeks, and additional time may be required. The base fee is $900.00 for the first 2 weeks, and additional weeks (up to 2 more) are available at a rate of $200.00/week. Jump Start program results are NOT guaranteed, as puppies learn at different rates. Availability is strictly limited to only one puppy at any given time, so we recommend reserving space once you know when your pup will be arriving. Click here to check availability.

Start your puppy right, and JUMP ahead of the learning curve! This program includes a correctly fitted collar, a 6' leash and our own training manual, plus a personalized lesson plan to continue training. We feed Exceed, a premium chicken-based dry food. If you wish to feed a different brand of food, you must provide enough to last the pup's entire stay. For successful housebreaking purposes, we suggest a quality dry food and can recommend specific brands on request.

A $200.00 deposit (non-refundable, but applied to training fee) is required to guarantee a space in the Jump Start program. Checks, credit cards and PayPal accepted.
